I have a 1 in a million 3.8ltr. in an 86 olds 88. All stock but has power like no other. Problem is that after about a hundred kliks following oil change the oil is black again. No grit though. could this be the warning of a problem or just the nature of the beast? I plan on using it in my next rod so---any ideas?

I have had 3, 3.8 Olds. engines,my last one was a Canadian model, 1986 Delta 88. Plenty horsepower, car was too heavy. To answer your Question, what kind of oil do you use? How many miles are on the engine? Have you diagnosed the the computer?

Thanks Cheffer
