Here's a good one for you techies, if I put a factory multiport FI unit from a ford 302 onto a 351 Windsor, do I need to modify anything? Thanks, Kev

The intake is different form the 302 and 351. The 351 efi manifold is very tall and may not fit under your hood. It was used mainly in trucks only. I have heard there are spacers you can use on the 351 to use the 302 intake but I have never seen them.

The head spacing won't permit a direct swap. You would be better off finding a truck 351W with multi-port and swapping that on. You could adapt it to the 302 computer if you want, but the manifold is a no go.

The engine will be in a 1990 F-150 4x4 Pickup, so there should be clearance if the FI isn't much taller than the 302 I am currently running.
