hi

just a short question what is the tread size of the bolts that bolt the tranz to the block on a 302 cleveland ford v8?

i have missplaced mine shifting and now ive got my reconed trans back ready to go in i dont have any bolts lol, so i thougt id ask on here first an go a buy some new ones rather then digging through my bucket of old bolts

untill they went to metric, from the 289 to the 460, diesels excluded, they used 7/16 x 14 bolts, just measure an extra 1/2- 3/4 in from the thickness of the bellhousing to make sure theyre long enough.

i knew this would be a far easier option then digging through all my old buckets of bolts
