i have a traditional style 32 ford 3w coupe with an aftermarket chassis from kiwi connection. i am looking for a manual brake master cylinder for it and am having problems finding one- please help!
the car has ford bronco drum brakes out back and repro '39 lincoln drum brakes up front (the ones wilson welding sells). since it has 4 whl drum, i know i probably need a dual master cylinder, 1" or less bore, with equal size reservoirs. im not sure if it matters what side the lines exit, but since the master is mounted under the car and faces backwards, it would be clean if the lines were on the frame side.
it has been very hit or miss at auto parts stores since they dont stock many older master cylinders anymore. any suggestions? help!

only thing i can think of is to try like a 40's or 50's truck/car mc. a lot of the cars back then had the mcs under the floor. or any rod mag will have ads from various manufact. that make dual-reservoir mcs to replace the oems in a lot of cars, so i'm sure they could come up with something. just depends how much you want to spend.

good luck,

JB

My suggestion would be to put a later model dual master on it (for safety reasons) , with an adjustable propotioning valve. That bway you can tune front to back as you need it.
