I bought this 33 ply and it has a 69 383 roadrunner motor in it. My problem is one of the headers close to the tranmission brace. So I can't hook up the rest of the exhaust. I don't want to change headers because the steering arm goes through it. How can I fix this??

I have a '33 Plymouth PD 5 window coupe. I do not have fenders or a hood, so i went with the Sanderson Limefire headers and dump into Corvette sidepipes.

Maybe you can heat the primaries with a torch till they're cherry red and stick 4 pcs. of black iron pipe, 1 in each primary, to help bend them in the direction that they need to go. Using the pipes may prevent the primaries from kinking when you bend them. Don't know what else to suggest. Do you have any pics?
