34 Chevy Glass

Front windsheild on a 34 Chevy was there a seal that went around the glass or was it just put in with windsheild sealer? Putting this one back togheter, glass was not in it so I don't know if it had one.

Someone with a '34 will probably advise. My '35 Master coupe uses a seal. Have you checked with Steele rubber products?
