I have a outlaw body 34 ford coupe with the rear suspension consisting of: 4 Link, coilovers, panhard and a forward facing half leaf. Needless to say the ride is like a lumber wagon, any thoughts? Can I lose the leaf?
I would think the quarter elliptics are overkill on a coupe. Best to remove them, make sure you are at ride height and test drive. Worse case is heavier springs on the coilovers.
Ok we need a picture here.
I have a picture in my head but thats all I am going off.
On the 4 link I would want it triangulated or to use a watts link throwing out the panhard.
On the coilovers I would want a progressive spring and adjustable shocks or a coilover with nitrogen resivior shock built inside the coilover. Or just to run bags.
