i want to know if a carburated 350 chev block will accept 1988 fuel injection
heads and intake

Yup. Heads and intake are specific for pre-87 engines, then 87-95 engines, and 96 and up engines. You can put whatever heads you want on any SBC block, just make sure the intake is compatible and you'll be golden.

I might suggest against just any 1988 heads. If they came from a TBI truck, they aren't worth spit. Tiny ports with cast-in swirl thingys that suck. TPI heads weren't too bad.
