Looking to rebulid 1984 350 4 bolt to put in 1977 corvette.
Want something to get up go and when need to,will be mostly for cruising. Dont want any thing too radical.Only part I have is cam 224/224 ,450 lift. and lifters.What's a good head,piston and carb setup for this rebuild.

That cam kind of sucks. With 224o of duration, it should have more lift than that. It will help cylinder heads that don't flow well, but if you run any decent head, the cam is pretty dissapointing.

The more lift you can get within a given duration the better. It will add throttle response and bottom end.
