Our little S-10 is running a V-8 conversion.
350ci.300h.p. sbc with a 350 turbo and a 373 geared rear. The trans is good,but we have been thinking about installing a 200R4 or a 700R overdrive trans. Just wondering how much if any will it make in performance. Like taking off. I read were it would give it a lower first gear and a much higher high/overdrive gear. So in overdrive cruising will be a lot less rpm. But will there be a lot of difference and noticeable in low gear. And would the 200R4 or 700R be better ? Thanks !
