I have a 351W from a '94 F-150 that I'm going to put into a '67 Fairlane with a T-5. I just realized the block has no provision for the Z bar pivot. Were there no standard trannys in the F-150's that year? Or, were they cable or hydraulic actuated?

I know there are cable/hydraulic aftermarket options available but I'm wondering if there's another option based on the factory set up.

I often recommend the Novak external hyd. setup to people doing a build-yer-own setup. I much prefer it to the aftermarket collar type hydraulics.

There was a manual in the F-series, but it wasn't a T5 obviously
