Has anyone ever replaced these before. I bought a set of
B itchen floorboards and cowl supports. Their directions were'nt the greatest. I'm kind of winging it right now, with the rocker panels. (See the project journal) Seems like I need to bend the forward most vertical flange to meet the body/frame supports? That and they sent an angle shape that supports the floor, but I have no clue where it welds to. The instructions show pics that looked like it was copied a zillion times. Anyone done one?

I'm in the same neighborhood. I replaced some floor and parts of my rockers.

On mine the inner rocker was just an angled piece like yours. towards the front of the car it Z'd out to the cowl support.

The outer on my dodge is spot welded to the inner rocket, at two places, the very bottom on a vertical and at the top inside the door.

Then the floor is inside the door underneath where the inner and outer rocker meet.

I attached a drawing of what mine's set up like. Yours may be different.

I noticed looking through your journal that your rocker is quite a bit different than mine was... Maybe this will still help though.

The cowl support is just ahead of the door pillar. Like, the opposite side of the hinge. It connects the cowl and area just ahead of where the hinges are screwed in. The one angled piece that welds (somewhere) under the cowl support is the baffling one. Its not shown in the Journal, yet...
I have to call B itchin products, but I was hoping someone had actually done one.

I should have been more clear. I have the rocker under control, its the cowl support thats getting me.

It's cool, I've been spending alot of time down there in mine... SO that's where my head is lately. Yours is enough different (about 15 years older) that I'd have to have it infront of me to rig something up. Good luck, I know how frustrating it can be to do floors, and rockers. I finally decided it would not look just like the original no matter what I did and just made it work. ain:
