I got this mixing instructions.
Is it 20% of the 4:1 paint/hardener mixture making it 4:1:1 or is the 20% 1/5 of one part?

See, that's the kicker. It's not. That's exactly what I did.
I did get a hold of the sales rep.
It's 20% of the mixed paint/hardener.
1 part.
So, the formula is 4:1:1 which means it is reduced 20%

Gaawwdd.....no wonder I was having such a hard time painting.

I guess so! I would have done the same thing and never thought twice about it.

Ha, ya.....us home wannabe painters, eh?

I still stand by the fact that the formula is improperly written.
50% reduction for SPI is 1:1:1. It is shown correctly, numerically wise.
They discuss thinning it 50%, but write out the numbers correctly.
