4.6 DOHC EGR Delete?

I happened to buy a 4.6 DOHC drive train from a 1993 Lincoln. In the midst of cleaning it I pulled the intake off and found the passage to the EGR completely blocked. I also noticed that one of the bolts to the EGR valve broke off. I have removed the EGR valve but I am wondering if I should just block it off completely. Would it be a problem to do so if I run the motor in a T Bucket/Rat Rod?

Better to run it. It will help keep detonation(some)in check and it wont hurt overall performance as it only is running at cruise and not WOT.
Plus it will make it easier for the thing to pass emissions.
Fuel calibrations are designed have the egr working . Unless you are going to do a serious tune of the PCM I would keep it.
If the thing is beyond repair, then by all mean bypass it.You probably wont notice much difference
