Starting to make a mild street rod out of an all original '40 Plymouth pickup. I am looking for anybody out there that has dropped a Mopar small block into a '39-'47 Dodge or Plymouth truck. Any tips on slipping one of these in these trucks? I am trying not to cut the truck up as much as possible as it is just one of 702 that were built in Los Angeles for '40, so it's pretty rare. Ideally the truck will have a Mopar small block and auto trans, updated power brakes, while retaining the stock body.
