There was a article in I think super chevy about building a $1000 sbc that made 400hp. Not really a big deal, what got me thoguh was the LACK of integrity on behalf of the journalist and magazine. They advised using Pro COmp heads- which most of us know as the WORST heads ever cast. Their chinese quality control is out right shameful and they advised using them. I am not renewing my subscription just because of that one article unless at the very least they print a thurough retraction in the next issue.

I have heard scually that procomp straightened their act out and those heads are a ton better I know a guy who put em on a mid nineties camaro and really had some decent power outta'em i dunno tho
