tryin to get some info on how to build this 427T. using the stock heads ( A63 ). with stock flat top pistons and crank. found the spacers and a street intake. i have heard that i either need the intake machined or a adjustable collar distributor. tryin to find out how much needs to be machined out for a normal distributor to work.

.385". MOST intakes will not take this kind of cut. MUST have re-inforcement welded into underside dist area.

You are better off machining off the dist. ring and fabricating another.

Don't expect much from this combo. Four ring pistons and tiny valves/ports are only good for 4500 rpm.
