Got this 454 in a Henry J and not sure what compression ratio it has. Any ideas given these specs. PO says 10:1 and 538 HP but I think that's a little high. Really don't want to pull a head etc to get all the specs.

News is not good....appears that .100" tall dome is just about 10cc or so, and even figured with 119cc head chamber(it could be as big as 122cc actual), a mild deck cut leaving it .015" down at TDC results in just 8.7:1 compression ratio....zero decking only gets it up to 8.9:1.

I say 538hp is a stretch unless the heads are very good. Since they don't have bigger valves, that isn't a possibility.

I'd be amazed if it made 450+ HP

I thought about it but it's stock except for the cam and ARP rod bolts
