Have a GM 454 with Hooker super comp headers. I can't seem to get any plug wires to last over 2-3 months without them burning off or cracking plug boot and causing engine missing. I've tried fiberglass and ceramic boot covers, ceramic boots, etc. I don't see how 90 degree boots will fit, so been using either 135's or multi-angle. Anyone else run into this? Ideas and/or Solutions? [email protected]
Dude i just bought a chev truck with a 454 in it headers already installed cant remember seeing any problems with wires since it runs great but I will look tomorrow to see what kind of set up is there and let you know how this one works
