Just about every chevy coupe I see has the rear fenders molded into the body. I like the looks and want to do it, but how do you do it so that in 3-5 years it isn't cracking and needing to be redone? Thanks for any advice!

Weld and metal finish as much as you can.
then use a very thin coat of bondo and it will not crack.
I do this kind of work all of the time.

Fenders

Thanks. I have never done lead or Eastwoods leadless solder, would like to try it. Would this be a good alternative? Thanks again.

yea, I would mig. But then maybe I'll try the solder. Have you used the leadless?

I see you have body experience. I would also like to pie cut the hood. Got any pics, tips, or comments for me on this? Thanks alot. Sorry to be a bother. Jeff
