Hi
I have a 49 chevy pickup and three kids not goats
lovely children really. I'm looking for a bench seat that will fit well, I could modify it to make it tilt forward if need be.Oh,i have a lovely wife too! Does anyone out there know what works. Hoping to have Kristkustoms make it look pretty

Seeing your fabrication skills, I would imagine you could build the seat frame yourself, hinging forward as you would like it to. Make the seating areas flat, and I could add the foam and carve it the pretty much any shape you want. Speaking from experiece, sometimes it is alot easier to just build a seat exactly how you want it, than try to modify an existing seat.

I would make a drawing with all the appropriate measurements from your truck:
1. original seat height, width, depth.
2. floor mount configuration.
Then hit the local junkyards/pick-a-parts/etc.
I'd look at Mid-size SUVs, Voyager/Caravans for a start. Don't forget the rear and middle seats! The newer these things are the better chance you'll get leather TOO!
Best of luck!
