My name is Joe & I live in Plano, TX...I am building a '49 Merc. Convertible on a '88 Olds body.

I purchased a GM crate motor # 10243880 and would like to know the specs on this motor...Several people told me it is for a 73-82 veh...then I was told it was for a 88-92 veh...&...the last person I talked to told me it was for 95-00 veh ???? I don't know and I am confused_HA!!

I would like to know what year/s this engine was for, cam, & etc.
