I have a 1994 k2500 5.7 liter 4x4 with a 4l60. Transmission is bad. Got a used tranny from local junk yard.It's a 4l60e. These two transmission are different.Will the 4l60e work in my truck?

Your truck originally came with a 4L60e. Was it swapped out to a 4L60 (700r4)?

called dealer gave them the vin and they said it came with 4L60 not 4L60E

If it has a square 4 pin connector on it, its a 4L60. If it has a round connector with a bunch (17?) pins, its a 4l60e.

Sorry, if I'm contradicting what the dealer says. I'm sure they're always correct.

Truck has a shift linkage and used transmission has a shift cable. the 4L60E also uses an
digital dash.My gauges are analog
