im going to a pick and pull placetomm, i need to know if all the 4x4 4l60e's are the same, like can i take a 4l60e from a new truck and put it in my s10, will everything line up bolt wise and are all the electrical connectors the same, or do i have to get it from another s10 zr2 truck thats the same year as mine which is a 94. all in all what vehicles can i pull a 4l60e from and have it bolt right up with no issuse other than putting it in and driving away. ps. my truck is a 94 s10 zr2 4.3 L

1993 and 1994 4L60e of the 4x4 design will bolt right in and plug in corectly.

It must be off a V-8 or 4.3 V6 engine

In 1995 - 1996 , GM changed the Lockup strategy ( operation - control) on the torque converter

i have a 94 chevy s10 zr2 with the 4.3L vortec, i went to a pick and pull today and found some trucks and blazers, will the 4l60e out of a 93/94 blazer/ gmc jimmy work with my truck. and does anyone have any specs on my tranny. bolt patterens, i dont want to drive another 140 miles and bring back the wrong one, tell me what i need to look for

as I posted in your other thread;

a 1993 -1994 4L60e trans of the 4x4 design will bolt into your vehicle and plug into the wire harness.

It must be off a V8 engine or the 4.3 V6 engine
