So I have completed my trans rebuild for my 98 chevy 1500. I will be picking up my block and heads from my speed shop next week. It will likely take a week to put my engine back together.
-------My question is this: will my trans be okay to sit for 2 weeks before it gets bolted into the truck and started?
I don't want to run the risk of screwing anything up after all the time and money I have into this.
Are there any steps I need to take(for the trans) before start up?
