So Ive got a 95 Riviera with a Supercharged 3.8 and a 4T60-E Tranny. It has already been determined that the tranny is shot, so now I'm on the hunt for a used transmission. I found a 1993 Regal that has the 4T60-E and a 3.8. But the 3.8 is NOT supercharged. As far as I know the transmission shouldn't be different, afterall a 4T60-E is a 4T60-E, right? But someone told me that the 4T60-E for a supercharged engine is different than the one from a non supercharged engine. I don't wanna buy this car and tear the tranny out to find that it won't work. In the end, my question is will a 4T60-E for a NONsupercharged buick 3.8 work in a supercharged 3.8? Thanks in advance for the help!
