sir . i have a swift lxi ... when i drive the car in 4th gear there is a slight movement in the gear ... like when press the escalator the nob goes back and when the foot is released the nob moves a bit in front ........ what is the problem ... the car is just 2months old :(

That is normal. The engine is on rubber mounts, so when you accelerate, the engine and transmission move a little. Because the shifter is attatched to the transmission, it moves a little bit too.

Check the motor mounts to make sure one hasn't broken, but otherwise its fine. My Ford Pickup moves the shifter 2 inches when I add power.
