could you put a corvette ls 5.7 cam in a gen1 350 and could you put the corvette heads on the gen1? what intake would i need? Thanks

Ok since no one wants to explain why, I will:D

Physically the cams do not interchange, they are not the same dimensions.

The LS heads have reverse cooling and many different features and although the swap is possible and has been done... dollar wise its pound foolish. You could buy an aftermarket SBC head for less money for the same improvement.

dart or world have a gen 1 block that takes the ls heads..
reason being there is craploads of gen1 stroker set ups and parts avail.. and no trans adaptors to use like the ls does when mating to a pre ls trans..
I think you could do a 450+cid gen1 ls headed engine for half of what the 454lsx cost.. no idea if dart world still offer them.. but if they do.. and in alum form.. it be killer.. and keep everyone guess'n what you've got..
