Hello,
Can anyone tell me if a 54 Mercury or 52-54 Ford hood is a compatible replacement for a 53 Mercury's hood? If not, how much modification would be needed?

Any help would be great.

If my old Geezer brain remembers correctly,,,,, The Merc hoods are longer than the Ford. The 54 Merc hood would be your best bet

I meant the Car (2 door Hardtop). Thanks for the info; sorry for the confusion.
