I HAVE A 54 CHEVY 3100 WAS LOOKING A T A POWER STEERING RACK THAT BOLTS TO THE FRAME SENCE I,M PUTTING A SMALL BLOCK IN HAS ANYONE USE ONE OF THESE AND HOW DID YOU LIKE IT?

Doesn't a 54 3100 have a solid I beam front axle?

YES IT DOES THIS RACK MOUNTS BEHIND THE AXLE ON THE FRAME RAILS

I installed a Toyota Land Cruiser power steerting box on my '53. Almost the same size as the factory gear. Just need to make a mounting bracket, heat and bend up the spindle steering arm, straighten the Toyota pitman arm and cut off the ball and bore it with tapered hole for rod end, and adapt to the steering column.
