i have a 49 plymouth 4dr sedan special deluxe i just bought

i would like to throw in a newer technology chevy engine...

are the LQ9 and 4L80E good?

will they fit nicely in my plymouth? will i need special mounts or to cut anything up?

what would be a fair price for a nicely used set up including harness and computer?

can i carb this with a big round air cleaner on top? i like the looks...or should i stick with the computer?

thanks everybody ahead of time...i always get great info here

You sure can carb that 6.0! MSD makes an ignition box that will fire your eight coils. You can also buy an aluminum carb style intake for these. GM and edlebrock make them. These engines work great with a carb. They come stock with 210cc intake runners! You can easily achieve 500hp with just a cam swap.
New Tech?

With all the MOPAR dealers in a hurt if you want" New Tech" there might be some deals on a crate HEMI  :D
thanks

I worked in Chrysler Dealerships in the Muscle Car era, so I still have a soft spot for Mopars too! ;)
