My Chevelle drips oil, mostly from the oil pan and front seal.
I found out the engine has to be removed to regasket. Will attempt this and will clean up things in the process.
Any words of advice for a first timer ???

You might want to look into a 1 piece pan gasket and check the mounting flanges on the pan and cover to make sure they are not bent. Torque specs and tightening sequence are your friends. :)

If it's just the front seal, that can be replaced without removing the engine. I would try that first. Check the fuel pump gasket while you are at it.
