I recently bought a 69 longbed chevy. The body was perfect nothing has been hacked up. has a supercharged 350. I got a heck of a deal on it. The only problem for me is that I wanted a short bed to customise, tub and rod out. Am I getting over my head with thoughts of shortening the frame and turning it into a shortbed? Any advise would be great.

I have seen an article on this conversion being done but don't sorry I don't remember where. It involved obtaining a short bed then shortening the frame. Based on ones skill level it didn't look incredibility difficult. You might check with Mar-K.
