My 1989 700r4 has been modded with a .500 boost valve, L type accumulator valve assy with pink firm shifting spring, 5600 rpm governor, Corvette servo & piston assy.

I can ratchet shift to any rpm. I have a great snappy 1-2 shift, But My 2-3 has a delay. When I installed the servo, I measure the pin, and it was a little shorter than the spec I have in the manual.

Also automatic shifting at WOT is nowhere near 5600, more like 4600.

The servo is for 2nd gear apply as you mention snappy 2nd gear shift... the servo's affect on 3rd gear is limited.

What is the history on this trans? Was it rebuilt when these parts were added?
