Guys,
I need help, the shifting on this one goes from 1st to 3rd and no way to get it into OD.. I changed the fluid and filter but no change... I'm thinking on buying a rebulding KIT and give it go.. any suggestions before I 'disect' the tranny...God knows if I will be able to put it back togehter!!!.

This probably is not the problem, but have you checked th TV cable (adjustment). What speed is it shifting? When you said 1-3 is it missing 2nd? if not at what speed does 1st to 2nd happen?

thanks for the quick reply.. I adjusted the TV cable ... Yes, it is missing 2nd and the RPM's have to go really high to jump to 3rd (which is not exactly smooth but it is not a hard shifting either)...

Sound like you may be on to something with that rebuild kit (sorry).
