Hi guys - got a problem with my 94 tranny in overdrive, it wants to slip in overdrive but doesn;t in 1st, 2nd and 3rd - is there some adjustment I can do or does it need a total rebuild anybody have any ideas?

Do you mean in the overdrive position,from a stop,it will slip,but not if you pull it down to 1st,2nd,or 3rd?

Or do you mean as you drive down the road,when it shifts to overdrive,it slips?

Brisco the tranny slips when I am driving down the road when it slips into overdrive. It works fine from a dead stop.

Ok Jerryb,thats not good.I would suspect the 2-4 band is about gone.

How many miles on vehicle[trans]?

I bought the truck used, over 200k on truck but new motor and tranny rebuilt about 60k, I tend to agree with you - bad tranny. Thanks for your input.
