[Ted's37]

I have a 84 700r4 that was recently rebuilt, and I put a rebuilt valve body put in it last week.
My problem is when you try to manual down shift from 3rd. gear to 2nd. it does nothing. If you continue say at 30mph with no accelleration it will eventually down shift after 10-15 seconds.
Does anybody have any suggestions what the problem might be.

did u change the seperator plate theres many plates that have to be matched to the valve body TRANS GO sells a universal plate thet work great
