Will it damage a torqueflite to run without the carb linkage?
I have my torqueflite in and I hooked up a B&M Ratchet but im wondering if I can manually shift the ratchet until I get a carb link? If any of you experienced guys with the 727 3 speed knowledge could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

The only way you can shift it manually is to have a manual valve body in the trans. You may do some damage to the trans not having the kickdown hooked to the trans and shifting it.
