A few month's ago I bougth a 8.1 vortec engine but I don't know or it's a truck or marine engine.
I did check the blockcastingnumber at mortec's site but couldn't find it there.
The blockcastingnumber is 12558110 and no I did not make a readingmistake the 8 is really 8 and not 6.
Could somebody help me?

The question is what type of engine this is , I know when the blockcastingnumber is 12556110 it's from a truck but because it's 12558110 I am not sure. I have to search for a pcm and wiring for this engine that's why I have to be sure of the type.
