I have a 95 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec, I have read the threads about building a 4.3 to make some power, but is it worth it and will it hold up. I can build a 350 to make good power and be bullet proof. So my questions are, has any one build and tested the life of a 4.3? Also will a sbc fit in the blazer w/ four wheel drive? I know there will have to be some modifications made but I still want it to look like a blazer when I am done ;) . If anyone has tried I would like to here your experiences. Thanks.

Yes, its done all the time.. There is a company that makes kits for this, but it escapes me right now. Maybe someone else knows of this company.

Yup, its a nearly a bolt-in, and for the money you'd spend on getting that 4.3 to make more power you could have probably bought three 350s.
