Advance Auto Parts did it again! I've learned my lesson. I will not buy performance parts from them again. MOST people with at least a few automotive skills should be able to tell the difference between a TH350 torque converter and one for a Powerglide!:boxing:

today most people just look at the computer screen and blindly go with what it says they don't use there brains.

People rely on them too much. When I worked at a dodge dealership a while back, I spent countless hours synchronizing the shelf to the computer and I still always checked everything I put on the counter. The Advance here is just the same though. Ive had similar experiences.:smash:

I agree, except for myself. I work for Advance. ALWAYS go to the commercial parts counter to get performance parts.

You can look in the parking lot to see if one of them is driving a hotrod. Ask who owns it and deal with that person if they have no commercial parts man.
