Replacing r134a ac comp and drier on old build sbc. Found new comp ok but all new driers are way bigger (9"x 3") than existing one (5 1/2" x 2 1/2") and they won't fit in space. Anybody know a source for a smaller drier?

When I reworked my truck A/C the guy making the hoses had a parts catalog with all the stock driers listed and pictured, their physical dimensions, and the size of the threaded fittings on each one. My truck is a ‘75 but we used a drier from the mid 80’s because the fittings orientation worked better. The same catalog is probably now online, but I don’t know where to find it.

The one I use is a tad bit bigger @ 7.8" X 2.36" and has a sight glass as well as port on both sides for binary switch. My little dirty secret is that it comes from a 2002 Kia Rio. Rock auto has it for $5...yes $5!
