Purchased a vehicle with a "Quality Control" (brand name) air conditioning system partially installed. System is approx. 10 years old but components are still new. I have all the parts just looking for any information or instruction booklet to complete the install. Company went out of business and there is no information on the web.

Thanks Tark

Most air conditioning systems are remarkably similar in design. If you can find a generic A/c troubleshooting book or even a shop manual for an air conditioned car, you'll be able to identify the components and come up with a general plan for the plumbing.
Basically, compressor out to condenser in, condenser out to filter/dryer in, filter/dryer out to evaporator in, and evaporator out to compressor in.

It is one big closed loop. Chiltons has a book on A/C or check your local library for manuals (0.10 a page to photocopy). Just make sure the hoses and o-rings in the compressor are compatible with R-134a, or pay out the pooper for R12 .
