I have an amc engine with the block numbers 3198951 and head numbers 3216080-1. Can anyone tell me what they are, there is no numbers on the sides of the block that i can see, like 304 or 360.

if there are no numbers on the side of the block.. it's ither not a AMC engine, or it's an old replacement engine block.. they were designed to be bored from a 360 CI up to a 401 displacement

The heads come up as 1973 401 Castings.
