Anyone know how much amperage the TCC lockup switch on a 2004R transmission draws?

I am looking into putting an rpm switch into the circuit, it won't need a relay if constant current is less than 2 amps or surge less than 3 amps.

I assume the amperage is greater than this but wonder if anyone knows.

I generally suggest a 10 amp circuit with 16 gauge wire...

I have mine running on a 5A add-a-circuit connector plugged into the 15A brake/hazard circuit in the fuse block.
