How do I decode the following info that was on my tag

PKB A31
062070 F16
E4TP AAA

The E4TP would indicate it was probably from a truck. I'll look in my interchange book when I go out to the shop later.

E4TP tells me 84 truck. 062070 is a serial number. PKB would have been the in plant build code.

One of the others should decode a build date but I forget which one.

All AODs were built at "Fort Livonia" at 36200 Plymouth Road in beautiful Livonia, Michigan.

Best guess based on what they built that year would be that it was from an 84 F150 behind a 302. Should be fine behind any small block.

AOD info

Yeah Im runnin a F-250 83 Exploder . Mine has C-6 but door sticker says it came with an AOD trans behind a 302 . The Exploder Being the Sport Utility 3/4 Ton Pick up . <<, If thats any help ? Sean
