Ive got a 97 Astro AWD that has recently started making a noise.
When you leave from a stop, it will sometimes make a fairly loud pop that sounds like its coming from the front. I & my buddy at reputable repair shop have checked the front end steering & suspension , everything looks good.
I learned today that apparently these are known for front driveshaft problems.... but sometimes transfer case problems.
Im wondering if any of the mechanics here have experianced this problem, any help appreciated. John
