if any at all what late model master cylinder should i use when converting a four wheel drum to front disc on a 68 pontiac lemans?

either late model f-body or s10 master cylinders bolt up but the f-body one is on a goofy angle so the s-10 is the best choice.atx68GTOclone said:

is there any late model power booster that i can use that will improve brake performance for this conversion?
With B-body brakes, S10 master cylinder, and power boost you will have too little pedal feel and lock up the brakes (if you don't have a spongy pedal). The late model B-body (say 88 caprice wagon) master cylinders are the same externally as the S10 master. If you go with late model master cylinder you might as well go with a S10 booster. They are double diaphragm and some of them are small to help with valve cover clearance. I have 12" B-body brakes on my 87 S10 with the stock booster, 88 caprice wagon master, and it has the perfect pedal feel.
