Got my hands on an old-school Carter 'Competition Series' 750 AFB w/manual choke, guy claims he's had it since the early 70s when his buddy gave up trying to get this thing running properly on a 340 Duster.
It is in good shape, it does in fact look like it's been shelved in a garage for 30+ years. I've opened it up to check out the metering parts and here's the scoop:
Primary Jets 110
Secondary Jets 92
Metering Rods 16-388
I have been poking around trying to find what the original baseline jetting and metering rods are for this model - anyone got some info?
Edelbrock shows on their website what comes in their #1407 750 CFM, but I'd really like to know what this thing came with out of the box - if I can.
Thanks
