I have a '94 351 Windsor that will mount to a '67 289 bellhousing with a T-5 trans. What purpose does the 1/16" engine to bellhousing separator plate serve in this assembly?
Mainly it is there to support the starter. If you leave it out EVENTUALLY your bell housing will break since alone the bell housing is not strong enough to support the starter.I have a '94 351 Windsor that will mount to a '67 289 bellhousing with a T-5 trans.
